Oxygen can be depleted by the presence of other gases and can lead to death when critical levels are reached. Similarly high levels of oxygen, e.g. from ventilators and other medical applications can lead to high levels of oxygen which can be combustible. Our Oxygen gas meter alarms at recognised dangerous levels to protect you from gas exposure typically set at 19.5% for low oxygen and 23.5% for high oxygen.
